This contemporary Spanish style residence is located just north of Sunset Boulevard. The homeowner, a young talent agent, purchased the house for its views of the city as well the stunning architectural elements. The four sets of French doors at the living room overlook the garden, pool and the city below. SPI stripped and stained the floors an espresso brown and painted the walls in contrasting stark white to emphasize the high ceilings in the public areas. An open walkway connects the main entry to the living room, dining room, media room, powder room and kitchen. A guest bedroom and adjoining bath complete the first level. On the floor below is the master suite, complete with home gym and direct access to the pool area.

The furniture chosen for the space is streamlined and modern. The color palette of whites and beiges in paint and fabric contrasts with the rich exotic woods of many of the furniture pieces. The living room features a 10’ custom ebonized console with a macassar ebony top. The macassar and ebony combination is repeated in the dining room table and chairs. Color is added to the rooms through a variety of eclectic art and accessories.
